This course explores the writings of Guru Gobind Singh (1666–1708) — the martial poetry of the Dasam Granth and its retellings of the Goddess Chandi's battles. We'll read these alongside Guru Granth Sahib and explore how precolonial Sikh literature thought of these texts.
